This scarf is a souvenir from a stroll in the Yoyogi park in Tokyo. A real oasis of greenery in the middle of this busy city.

When you arrive at the entrance, you enter the park by passing under the Torii gate, the traditional Japanese gates found at the entrance of temples. They are massive and symbolize the passage from a common place to the sacred place.

This gate is breathtaking when seen for the first time, and is camouflaged among the tall trees and surrounding nature. The Torii gate of Yoyogi Park scarf is surrounded by four floral medallions reminiscent of the flowers I saw there.
